Why come to Counselling or
Therapy?
The underlying purpose of all counselling
and psychotherapy is to enhance your ability to generate or create
new ways of thinking and behaving and increase your capacity to
respond more skilfully to changes and events in your
life.
Counselling or psychotherapy is not about waving magic
wands to try and fix things, but it is about an attempt to make
sense of emotional pain and distress.
